NORTHERN LIGHT, CROCHET CANDLE COZY

Finally... here in the pattern for my crochet candle cozy in English, US terms :)

I'm not used to write pattern in English, so PLEASE let me know if something doesn't make sense ;)

Crochet candle cozy
You need:
1 empty glass: 10 cm high, 26 cm wide
Hook: 3 mm (If you crochet loosely, it may be better to use a 2.5 mm hook)
Thin cotton yarn, (recommended needle size 2,5 mm - 3 mm)

INFO:
The first double crochet at the beginning of a round, is replaced with either 3 ch or an INVISIBLE TURNING STICH

Start with a MAGIC CIRCLE

1.       12 dc into ring, 1 ss into top of first dc to join

2.       2 dc into each dc to end, 1 ss into top of first dc to join = 24 dc

3.       *1 dc, 2 dc into next dc* repeat from *to* around to end, 1 ss into top of first dc to join = 36 dc

4.       *1 dc in each of next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc* repeat from *to* around to end, 1 ss into top of first dc to join = 48 dc

5.       Repeat round 4 = 64 st

6.        1 dc into back loop of each dc to end, 1 ss into top of beg dc to join

7.       1 dc, *ch1, skip one  dc, 1 dc into next dc* repeat from *to* around to end, 1 sc into top of first dc to join

8.       Work around the sc made to join rnd 7 - 2 dc , ch2, skip 1 ch-sp, 1 sc around next ch-sp *ch2, skip 1 ch-sp, around next ch-sp: (2 dc, ch2, 2 dc), ch2, skip 1 ch-sp, 1 sc around next ch-sp* repeat from *to* around to end, ch2 skip 1 ch-sp, 2 dc around next ch-sp, ch2, 1 sc into top of first dc to join

9.       Work around the sc made to join rnd 8 - 3 dc, ch2, 1 sc into next sc *ch2, around next ch-sp: (3 dc, ch2, 3 dc), ch2, 1 sc into next sc* repeat from *to* around to end, ch2, 3 dc around next ch-sp, ch2, 1 sc into top of first dc to join

10.   Repeat round 9.

11.   Work around the sc made to join rnd 10 - 1 sc, ch5, *3 sc into next ch-sp, ch5,*, repeat from *to* around to end, 2 sc around the same sc as the 1st sc, 1 ss into first sc to join

12.    1 dc, ch1, *around next ch-sp:(1 dc, ch1, 1 dc), ch1, 1 dc into next sc, ch1 skip 1 sc, 1 dc into next sc* repeat from *to* around to end, 1 ss into first dc to join,

13.   Repeat round 8-11

14.   1 dc, ch1, *1 dc around next ch-sp, ch1, 1 dc into next sc, ch1, skip 1 sc, 1 dc into next sc * repeat from *to* around to end, 1 ss into top of first dc to join

15.   Ch1, 1 sc around next ch,* 1 sc into next sc, 1 sc around next ch* repeat from *to* around to end, 1 ss into first ch to join

16.   1 dc, *ch1, skip 1 sc, 1 dc into next sc* repeat from *to* around to end, ch1, 1 ss into first dc to join

17.   1 dc, 1 dc in next ch-sp,* 1 dc into next dc, 1 dc in next ch-sp* repeat from *to* around to end,  1 ss into first dc to join

18.   *Ch3, 1 dc into first ch-sp, skip 1 dc, 1 sc into next dc* repeat from *to* around to end.

Cut yarn, weave in ends.
